The Sacrament of Confirmation 

Rooted in Pentecost (Acts 2), Confirmation perfects Baptism, sealing believers with the Holy Spirit’s gifts (wisdom, courage, etc.) through anointing with chrism. It deepens union with Christ, equips recipients to witness the faith, and binds them more fully to the Church’s apostolic mission. Administered by a bishop (or delegated priest), it imprints an indelible sacramental character, empowering Catholics to live as disciples and defenders of the Gospel.
